extensive online educational resource that aims to create
a greater connection with the natural world.
Problems surrounding the issue of climate
change are becoming all too familiar. Knowing about the
problems is important, but it’s only half the story.
The bigger picture is about education, solutions and recognising
that the crisis we face brings with it great opportunities
to rethink, innovate and progress.
We cannot make real progress towards sustainability
unless we teach our children—the future political
and business leaders—about the impact they each have
on the environment. Adventure Ecology works towards
making sustainability education mainstream.
Adventure Ecology tackles the real
issues surrounding the relationship between humans and their
physical and social environments: raising awareness through
education about the detrimental effects of modern civilisation
on the environment with a view to encourage change through
realistic solutions and positive human behaviours.
